Apply now for Polk State Foundation scholarships

The Polk State College Foundation’s application for scholarships for the 2026-2027 Academic Year is now open through October 15.

The Foundation awards approximately $1.2 million in scholarships annually.

Students can visit polk.academicworks.com to create or update their scholarship account. Additional information about available scholarships and instructions to complete the scholarship application process will be posted on the site once the application opens.

It is important to note that individuals who are interested in applying should ensure that they are registered Polk State students. Prospective students must submit a free, online application to Polk State. Students who have not taken courses for three consecutive semesters should re-apply and be re-admitted to the College as a returning student.

Foundation scholarships will be available for use in the spring semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Priority registration for spring will begin on November 2 for students who have completed at least 50% of their program requirements. Open registration will begin on November 9.

Scholarship funds must be used in the academic year that the award is based on. Scholarship offers must be accepted by December 1.

Classes will start on January 6.
