Desktop Support

The Polk State Desktop Support Team builds, monitors, maintains, and supervises the desktop infrastructure at the College, functioning as frontline and triage support. The Team also provisions and maintains staff and faculty computers (e.g., laptops and desktops); deploys software; installs and configures printers; repairs hardware, mouse, and keyboard issues; addresses Outlook complications; and provides generalized troubleshooting.

  • Email HelpDeskRequests@polk.edu to automatically generate a ticket.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
