Tracy Porter has been the executive director of the Polk State College Foundation since 2006. During her tenure, she has worked with the Foundation Board of Directors and professional team to more than double the Foundation’s assets, which today stand at approximately $36 million.
A Florida native, she was born and raised in Broward County. Prior to joining Polk State, she worked for the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
She has worked as a professional fund-raiser for more than 20 years, raising more than $33 million to benefit the arts, health care and education.
Porter holds an Associate of Arts degree from Broward Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix.
