Sgt. George Fahlgren attended the basic law enforcement academy at Polk State College in 1996. Since 1997, Sgt. Fahlgren has worked for the City of Fort Meade Police Department and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Fahlgren has worked the majority of his law enforcement career as a K-9 handler. He has also worked as a detective in the General Crimes and Robbery Units. Sgt. Fahlgren’s law enforcement experience began in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a master at arms. In 2012, he retired as a chief petty officer from the Navy Reserve. Sgt. Fahlgren currently holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling – Criminal Justice from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Warner University.
