Network Support Technician Certificate

The Network Support Technician college credit certificate is one of three certificates offered by the Network Systems Engineering Technology program. The curriculum consists of a sequence of twenty-one (21) credit hours of college-level courses that will prepare students for employment. Completing the certificate requirements will provide the skills necessary to earn industry certifications from CompTIA, Cisco and Microsoft.

Network Infrastructure Certificate

The Network Infrastructure Certificate is one of three certificates offered by the Network Systems Engineering Technology program. The curriculum consists of a sequence of twenty-one (21) credit hours of college-level courses built around LAN infrastructure. Completing the certificate requirements will prepare students for employment and provide the skills necessary to earn industry certifications from CompTIA, Cisco and Microsoft.

REQUIRED COURSES: CET 1174C, CET 1600C, CET 1610C, CTS 2110C, CET2622C, CET2660C AND CTS 2391C

 

Network Server Administration Certificate
Program 68335

The Network Server Administration Certificate is one of three certificates offered by the Network Systems Engineering Technology program. The curriculum consists of a sequence of twenty-one (21) credit hours of college-level courses built around LAN administration. Completing the certificate requirements will prepare students for employment and provide the skills necessary to earn industry certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, LPIC and Microsoft.

REQUIRED COURSES: CET 1174C, CET 1600C, CET 2660C, CTS 2110C, CTS 2321C, CTS 2390C, CTS 2391C AND CTS 2392C

 

Note – By themselves, the above certifications have value in the computer market based on the need for specific skill sets by employers.  However, most employers are looking for workers with multiple skill sets and a broad range of training.
