The Tuskegee University Museum displays Booker T. Washington's "Agriculture on Wheels," which was used to help local farmers ensure better crops.

A group of Upward Bound participants along with Advisor Linda Lowery pose in front of the church in Birmingham, where several children died because of a racially-motivated church bombing. This sculpture located across the street from the Civil Rights Institute in Birmingham, depicts the extreme measures utilized to fight against establishment of civil rights for African Americans. Many of the Upward Bound travelers pose before the showcase statue at Tuskegee.
