FINANCIAL AID:
Start the process immediately! You
are encouraged to complete the
Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
online and the PCC Financial Aid
Application. Check the
Financial
Aid web site. In addition to federal aid, the college provides many
scholarships, loans and grant opportunities maintained by the Financial Aid

DON’T DELAY!
COMPLETE THE
COLLEGE PLACEMENT TEST (CPT):
This is required for correct placement in
courses. College level work in Math or English may exempt this requirement.
Certain ACT and SAT scores no older than two years may exempt this
requirement. If you previously took the CPT within the last two years,
see an advisor about whether or not you should take it again. You'll be informed of testing dates when you are admitted.
This assessment is important– do your best!
SEE AN ACADEMIC
ADVISOR:
After you complete the CPT, see
an Academic Advisor. He/she will go over your results
and work with you on your degree goals and course
selection. If you are a transferring student, see an advisor first to
determine what part of the CPT you will be required to take.
ATTEND
NEW STUDENT
ORIENTATION (by appointment):
The Enrollment

students to the College's programs and procedures. The orientations
provide useful information
about campus rules and regulations and where offices and labs are
located on campus. All orientation participants are
encouraged to complete the new student survey that the college uses to
connect new students to campus
clubs and identify at-risk students. Go to
