Polk Community College maintains
an "Open-Door" policy and may admit any high school
graduate or GED certificate holder. Students may enter in the
fall, spring, or summer terms. Correspondence concerning

Admission to
PCC Has Two Avenues
Continuing Education
includes professional development classes, licensure courses,
company-sponsored courses, child care classes, and other similar courses.
These are managed by the

Regular College
Credit
admission
is managed through the Student Services
Department which consists of the Admission,
Registrar, Advising, and Testing Departments. Student Services offices are
located on the Winter Haven and Lakeland campus with full
services offered in both locations.

Registration Information
Prior to registering for courses,
a student shall have on file in the Admission and Registrar's Office:
- A completed
admission application which can be submitted as an
Online Application,
- Official high school transcript, GED
scores, or home school affidavit (if you are a transfer student
with more than 12 hours this may not be required)
- A copy of placement test results
- Official transcripts of all previous college work
- An affidavit of residence
Official transcripts must be sent directly to the Admission
and Registrar's Office at the address above.
Applicants are notified of their application status by mail.
