Films to Photos: Digital Media Technology Program Hosts Annual Student Showcase on May 10

Polk State’s Digital Media Technology program will host its second annual Digital Media Student Showcase at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, in room LTB 1100 on the Lakeland campus.

During the event, students will present the wide variety of multimedia projects they’ve completed in the 2013-14 academic year, including animated shorts, class videos, edited images, illustrations, layouts, photographs, portfolios, and short films. The work of both new and graduating students will be included in the Showcase.

Prizes will be awarded to the creator(s) of the top projects in each category.

The event will be a formal, complete with a red carpet and hors d’ouevres.

The event is free and open to the public.
