developed a series
of workshops that will assist students in the learning process.
These free workshops will be offered by faculty and staff on the
Winter Haven campus to PCC students throughout the spring term.

upcoming workshops:
Feb. 28 1-2pm
Welcome to the PCC Library
with Christina Fullerton in WH Library What is this
place all about? Who are these library people and what can they
do for you? How do you find information resources that your
instructors want you to use?
March 5 from 1-230pm Introduction to Research Workshop
with Jean Reynolds -
WLR215. This workshop will help you plan, organize, and
document your research paper. March 12
1-2pm Best Practices for Learning with Oscar Ramer-
WAD255 - 2nd offering. See description above.
March19 2-3pm MS Word Tips and Tricks with
Linda Young - WLR317 - 2nd offering. See
description above.
March 22 2-3pm Speak with Confidence: Tips
for Developing an Effective Presentation with Courtland Dixon -
WLR215. The purpose of this student centered workshop is to
provide basic information to assist in developing and presenting
information effectively. Overcoming anxiety, applying public
speaking skills and using visual materials together can create an
effective presentation for both your academic or professional
ventures.
