Nursing Open House Set For March 8 02/21/2007: Polk
Community College’s 14th Annual Nursing Open House will be held on
March 8, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Center and the Nursing Lab on
the Winter Haven campus.
Over 300 Nursing students will be providing educational displays and conducting tours of the Nursing and A-V labs in the Science building (WSC). Academic Advisors will be on hand to assist prospective students. Representatives from Polk County hospitals will provide information on career opportunities. Members of PCC’s Nursing Student Association will serve refreshments and give out free gifts, including nursing pins, CDs, posters, shirts and coloring books courtesy of the Johnson & Johnson Company.
