PCC TO HOLD A COMMUNITY FORUM ON APRIL 10, 7 P.M. AT RIDGE COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL

04/06/2007: Polk Community College will hold a Community Forum on April 10, 7 p.m. at Ridge Community High School to discuss the higher educational needs of the area. PCC, which is committed to serving the educational needs of all of Polk County, plans to offer courses this fall at Ridge Community High School to better serve Northeast Polk County.
            PCC President Eileen Holden and several administrators will be on hand to listen to community members. The forum will provide an opportunity for northeast Polk County residents to learn about PCC’s offerings and discuss their needs with PCC administrators.
            Ridge Community High School is located at 500 Orchid Drive- east of US 27 and 2 miles south of the Heart of Florida Hospital.   
            This event is made possible thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Haines City Chamber, Polk County Public Schools, Superintendent Gail McKinzie, the Polk County School Board, and Principal Sherry Wells.
