PCC Educator Preparation Institute Information Meetings on Dec. 7 & Jan 11

12/01/2006: Polk Community College will hold Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) information meetings on Dec. 7 and Jan. 11, 6 – 7 pm in Room WST126 of the Student Center on the Winter Haven campus. The session will provide information about EPI, an accelerated program for non-education majors who wish to become highly qualified (K-12) teachers and obtain professional state certification.

            PCC assists the Polk County School District by recruiting, training and producing highly-qualified, workforce ready teachers in the school system. The program features a combination of face-to-face Saturday classes and Internet courses.
