Dual Enrollment Information Sessions
To Be Held At PCC On Nov. 6 -9

10/26/2006: Polk Community College will hold Dual Enrollment Information Sessions Nov. 6 through 9 each night at 6 pm. The sessions will be held:

·        Nov. 6 & 7 on the Winter Haven Campus in the Student Center, (Room WST-127)

·        Nov. 8 & 9 on the Lakeland Campus in LLC-2188.

            Dual Enrollment classes give 10^th, 11^th and 12^th grade public and private school students and home school students an opportunity to earn high school credits and get a jump start on their college courses at the same time with no cost to their family.

            To be eligible for PCC’s Dual Enrollment program, students must:

·        Have a cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.0.

·        Take and pass the College Placement Test (CPT), which is required for the courses you plan to take.

Dual Enrollment Applications and Home School Affidavits will be available at all sessions. If you are not able to attend one of the information sessions, contact Mary Westgate on the Winter Haven campus at 297-1010 x 5201 or Simmi Johnson on the Lakeland campus at 297-1010 x 6107.

Registration for Dual Enrollment students begins on Nov. 15^th at 8:30am. Classes begin on Jan. 4.
