Basketball Player Named Men's Basketball Player Of The Week

player, Brandon Streeter, has been named
Men's Basketball Player
of the Week by the Florida Community College Activities
Association (FCCAA).
In three
games last week, Streeter averaged 26.0 points per game helping
the Vikings to a 2-1 record and the Polk New Year’s Classic
Championship. Streeter is a six-foot sophomore guard from Haines
City.
In the
Classic semifinals against Brookdale, he scored 23 points, which
included four three-point baskets, and dished out three assists.
One night later, he tallied 24 points (10-10 FT) and three steals,
helping Polk to the Classic Championship in an upset over No. 11
Georgia Perimeter College.
In Saturday’s Suncoast Conference opener, Streeter pumped in 31
points in a losing effort against Pasco-Hernando, enabling him to
move into the top 20 nationally in scoring. |
