PCC Initiates Online Registration
For Term 2 On Dec. 1

Rather than standing in line on the Lakeland or Winter Haven campuses, Polk Community College students will be able to sit at home and press their mouse buttons to quickly and easily register online.

The new registration system using the Internet is known as PASSPORT (Personal Access to Student Services Polk Online Registration Tool). The system will be available on Dec. 1 (12:01 a.m.) for Term 2 registration. Students must be admitted to the college and have a pin number to use the PASSPORT system. Fees can be paid online using a credit card.

Students may use the computers in PCC's Teaching, Learning, Computing Centers to register online. Following a trial run in the fall, this is the first full registration period that PCC students will be able to register online.

The system was funded by the PCC Foundation, Inc. PASSPORT can be accessed 7 days a week. It will be closed down in the early morning hours each day for maintenance. For additional information about PASSPORT: www.polk.cc.fl.us/access/passport.htm
