3 New Faculty Members Start Year At PCC

 

Three new faculty members will begin teaching at Polk Community College as the 2001-2002 school year begins on Aug. 20.
They are: Stephen Campbell, Lee Koratich and Barbara Lange.

Stephen Campbell is a new nursing instructor. He received his Bachelor's degree in nursing from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Va.) and Masters in nursing from the University of Phoenix. He has worked for the past three as Assistant Director of Nursing at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. Prior to that, Campbell worked from 1982 to 1998 in several nursing and administrative capacities at Warren Memorial Hospital in Virgina.

Lee Koratich is new math instructor. He earned his M.A in mathematics from Indiana University. Before coming to PCC, he was an Associate Instructor for the past two years at Indiana University. He also taught at the University of Hawaii and Ohio Northern University. Koratich received an award from Indiana University for outstanding first year graduate work and was honored by Ohio Northern University.

Barbara Lange is a nursing instructor. She received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from McKendree College in Kentucky and Masters in nursing from Bellarmine University in Kentucky. For the past three years, she was Assistant Professor at Elizabethtown Community College in Kentucky. From 1996 to 1998 she was a nursing instructor at Ivy Tech State College. She has seven years experience teaching nursing and served as nurse for 10 years.
