More specific information about each course, including any required class meetings, may be found on each course's home page in PAL. It is the student's responsibility to check his/her specific courses' homepage(s) in PAL for directions on how to begin the course at least one week prior to the beginning of each term (or the first day in January the College is open for Spring term). Course home pages may be found by following the instructions to log in to PAL, available on the PAL Instructions page which can also be found using the link in the upper left of the Distance Education Homepage or by following the preceding link. Course homepages will be available using PAL (Polk Access to Learning - see below).

All Internet and Hybrid courses are delivered using PAL (Polk Access to Learning), PCC's learning management system.  Once you have registered, one week prior to the term (or one week prior to the beginning date for FastTrack Session 2 or Term 3B in Summer) you can follow any course link from the Fall, Spring or Summer course indexes to see instructions about how to login to PAL and begin your course(s).  Once you are logged into PAL, find your course under the "My Polk Community College Courses" area and follow the link to that course's homepage - note that you may have to click the plus (+) sign next to the name of the current term to expand the list of that term's courses.  Once on a course's homepage, follow any instructions found there, and/or click on "Content" in the course navigation bar and read "How to Begin" or "How this Course Works" for further information.
