Consequently, the Digital Multimedia Program at Polk State College is here to help you achieve this career goal. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics lists Multimedia as the 13th most in-demand occupation in IT related fields. Nationally, the need for Graphic Designers is projected at 95,000 between 2006 and 2016, with projected employment of 323,100 by 2016. Digital Multimedia students create or edit images for commercial and promotional needs using a variety of tools to achieve a specific artistic appeal.
