Program director's Message
Dear Students:
Greetings and welcome to the Radiography program website!
Our program was established in January 1982, and our first class of students graduated in December 1983. Initially, there were two clinical sites: Winter Haven Hospital and Lake Wales Medical Center. Over the years the program has grown to include Bond Clinic, Heart of Florida Hospital, South Florida Baptist Hospital, Swindle Diagnostic Clinic, Gessler Clinic, Florida Joint and Spine, and Bartow Regional Medical Center as clinical sites. The Radiography program is nationally accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT), 20 N. Wacker Dr., Suite 2850, Chicago, Il. 60606-2901, (312)-704-5300. Our pass rate for the national certification exam has been a consistent 100% for every graduating class. Our graduates are currently employed in a variety of radiography related fields and earn excellent wages. We are fortunate to have very experienced faculty and clinical instructors to guide our students in their academic and clinical experiences.
If you are interested in pursuing a rewarding, versatile, and challenging career, consider joining us today! On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the Radiography program, we welcome you to our program and to an exciting and challenging profession in a progressive allied health field.
Sincerely,
|
