NOTICE T0 INSTRUCTORS

Effective immediately, the cutoff date for turning in time sheets is the last business day of the month. IT IS IMPORTANT TO TURN THE TIMESHEETS IN ON TIME!

REMINDER! PLEASE USE THE NEW TIMESHEETS EFFECTIVE August 16, 2010.

REMEMBER TO USE YOUR PID NUMBER INSTEAD OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER ON YOUR TIME SHEETS.

The Kenneth C. Thompson Institute of Public Safety offers Academy classes on an as-needed basis. Interested persons may double-click on any of the underlined classes listed below in blue to view and print the actual schedules in Adobe Acrobat Reader format.

Requirements for instructors who wish to teach in our Criminal Justice Academies:

If you are interested in teaching one of the Advanced/Specialized courses or the Detention, Correction, Basic Law Enforcement, Equivalency of Training, Night Academy, or Crossover courses, there are specific things you will need to do.

Currently we are not adding adjunct instructors to our general pool of instructors unless a Coordinator has an upcoming class date for which he needs an adjunct instructor.

You may contact any of the Coordinators listed below to determine if you have the qualifications and experience they require for a class and to determine if they will be able to utilize you in an actual class in the near future.

The Coordinators will then notify the Administrative Assistant of their need, and we will start the paperwork that you will need to complete.

Please be advised that completing an application for PSC and submitting it to HR does not mean that you can teach for Criminal Justice. There are specifics that we require in order to process you, drop you into the system under our codes, and allow you to teach.
