Honors Program Scholarships
Two types of tuition scholarships are available:
1. Honors Program Foundation Scholarships
These are one semester scholarships of $500; students can re-apply each semester. Application period: fall and spring semesters.
Students must:
1. Be enrolled in a degree program.
2. Be admitted to the Honors Program.
3. Have a 3.5 college GPA, or 3.7 high school GPA if no college GPA exists.
4. Complete essay.
5. Be enrolled in one Honors course for the semester in which the scholarship is awarded (unless the student has completed the 18 credits of Honors coursework required for completion of the Honors Program).
2. Honors Program Financial Aid Scholarships
These are two-year scholarships that cover 12 credits per semester. Application period: fall semesters only.
Students must:
1. Be enrolled in a degree program.
2. Be admitted to the Honors Program.
3. Have a 3.5 college GPA, or 3.7 high school GPA if no college GPA exists.
4. Be enrolled full time (12 credits per term).
5. Complete essay.
6. Meet the conditions for continued enrollment: students must be enrolled full time each semester (12 credits or more), maintain a 3.0 GPA, have completed 9 credits of Honors coursework by the end of the second semester of the award, and have completed 12 credits of Honors coursework by end of third semester of the award.
Application Period for Fall 2012 Now Open!!
The application period for Fall 2012 Honors Program Scholarships runs from February 1, 2012 through March 15, 2012.

Please note that if you are not currently an Honors Program student, you will need to also submit an application to the Honors Program. To do so, please fill out the Honors Program application and return it to any Polk State College advisor.
