Welcome to the Polk State College Mathematics Department Homepage. There are currently 10 full-time faculty located on the Winter Haven campus and 11 full-time faculty located on the Lakeland campus. The mathematics faculty pride themselves on their innovative teaching techniques, the use of technology to enhance instruction, and consideration of students' needs.

Polk State College offers a wide range of mathematics courses from Developmental Mathematics to Differential Equations. The Mathematics Department is currently implementing the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), the goal of which is to create a learner-centered environment and to help students cross the bridge to math success.
