PCC Foundation Scholarships

Many scholarship opportunities are available for students through the Polk Community College Foundation, Inc. Last year, the PCC Foundation administered over 600 endowed and private scholarships.

The PCC Foundation actively seeks private funding for endowed scholarships. These endowed scholarships often include special criteria established by the donor. The PCC Foundation Scholarship Committee selects applicants based on this stated criteria.

Endowed Scholarships

As of Friday, March 28 at 5:00 P.M., the Foundation is no longer accepting new applications for endowed scholarships.  If you have already submitted your application, you may continue to update or add information to your application; however, applicants will not be able to apply for additional scholarships after the deadline.

Applications will be reviewed and rated by an independent committee and notices will be e-mailed to all applicants no later than April 30, 2008. Award certificates for high school graduation ceremonies will be available the first week of May.

PCC Foundation endowed scholarships will be available for use Fall, 2008 and subsequent terms until the scholarship is fully expended, expires or terminates pursuant to donor requirements.

Throughout the academic year, the Foundation is made aware of other scholarship opportunities for our students. As those opportunities come available, we will post them on this webpage. These scholarships are awarded by entities not affiliated with the PCC Foundation and questions should be directed to the sponsoring organization.
