Welcome to Polk State College's professional development webpage! The purpose of this page is to provide resources to faculty and staff to help improve their skills and expand areas of expertise. PSC offers a variety of workshops and presentations available locally. The development opportunities listed in the menu are available to all PSC faculty and staff. PSC supports professional development through attending and presenting at local, state, and national conferences. As a result, a list of conferences that might be of interest to you is included. 

Professional development is about both professional and personal growth. PSC offers many opportunities to volunteer and be a part of the many activities available at the College. By volunteering for these events, you will gain valuable experiences working with colleagues outside of your department and with our PSC student volunteers. Volunteers truly build and enrich a community. Please take advantage of these meaningful, positive opportunities!
