Polk State College Testing
At instructor request, makeup, distance education, and other special testing is administered in the TLCC. All tests are housed in a secure environment and testers are closely supervised with audio/visual systems. Instructors leave specific instructions on how they want the test given. The TLCC's adhere strictly to the instructions given regarding time limits or aids allowed such as calculators, books, note cards, scratch paper, etc.
Students taking tests must present a recognizable PHOTO ID; a Test will NOT be given without a Photo ID.
Students must know the name of the instructor, course, and test to be taken.
All tests taken in the TLCC must begin at least one hour prior to CLOSING or the maximum amount of time allowed for the test (check with your instructor if you don’t know how much time is allowed), whichever is greater.
For test security and to ensure the quality of the testing environment for all testers, CELL PHONES AND OTHER PERSONAL DIGITAL DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE TESTING AREA FOR ANY REASON. Your cooperation is appreciated.
