She received her Associate in Science in Business Administration in 1992 and her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in 1996 from Tampa College- Lakeland.
Her philosophy concerning education: There is no such thing as an easy class, college is tough but the rewards are great and you must be prepared as a student to work hard. Be receptive to learning and remember that no one can want your degree/education for you. Remember to be kind to yourself and reward yourself for a job well done.

Claudy Fenelon was an active participant in the Trio Student Support Services program during his tenure at Polk State College from 2002 to 2004. As a student, Claudy worked for the TRiO Student Support Service program as a math tutor for over two years. During that period, he had the opportunity to serve as a mentor by focusing on the importance of academic success and helping new and continuing students adjust to campus life and the rigors of academics. Later, he transferred to the University of South Florida in Lakeland where he received his Bachelor Degree (2007). After graduation from the University of South Florida in May 2007, Claudy had the opportunity to work at Polk State College as an adjunct math instructor teaching pre-college level courses. Claudy is currently a Transition Specialist/Academic Advisor with Polk State College’s Trio Student support Services program. His primary responsibility is to assist students with reaching their academic goals. Claudy is also responsible for monitoring their academic progress and providing transfer counseling to ensure they understand the college transfer process and requirements such as admissions, financial aid and scholarships. Also, it is an honor for Claudy to help students and also give back to the program that helped me.
