Coaches vs Cancer Event

Polk State College Basketball Coaches Steve Perkins, Matt Furjanic and Randy Hoffman, participated in the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend, a collaborative initiative of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society on January 29, 2011.   Proceeds from the raffle and game netted a total of $320.00, which was donated to the American Cancer Society through the NABC Coaches vs Cancer program.
