Academics

Dr. Kenneth Ross

Vice President for Academic and Student Services

In PSC’s collaborative quest for excellence, our diverse, award-winning faculty and staff are committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. Maybe your goals are to update skills or attain certificates through our superb Corporate College, Workforce Development, or our award-winning Educator Preparation Institute programs. Or possibly your goals include one of our AA degrees with 97 advising tracks that transfer to universities, which also includes our growing Honors Program for students looking for more rigorous coursework.

Or perhaps you are interested in pursuing one of our 30 AS or 27 AAS degrees, including specialties such as nursing, allied health, and criminal justice, to name a few, or one of our new bachelors’ degrees in Supervision and Management with 3 concentrations in Public Administration, Public Safety Management, or Business Administration. PSC is also proud to offer two collegiate high schools—Chain of Lakes High School in Winter Haven and Collegiate High School in Lakeland—for students looking for an alternative high school path and the opportunity to gain college credits or degrees at no cost while finishing high school.

In addition to all of our various course offerings and degrees at some of the most affordable prices in the state, PSC offers a diverse selection of clubs, organizations, world travel, arts, and athletics in which students may engage, socialize, and build lasting friendships—because it’s not all about studying!
