Lakeland Campus

The PCC Collegiate High School was established in 2002. It is located on Polk Community College's Lakeland campus and is the second collegiate high school established in Florida.

The Lakeland Collegiate High School and the Chain of Lakes Collegiate High School in Winter Haven provide students in central Florida a new direction in their education. Associate in Arts degree, or an Associate in Science degree is available with the possibility of graduating high school and college at the same time.

Vision

The purpose of the PCC Collegiate Charter High School is to provide academic and technical education for serious high school students who desire to undertake college-level study. The two-year curriculum will enable students to complete a high school diploma and many of the requirements for an associate degree, simultaneously, in either academic transfer or technical education options.

Mission

The PCC Collegiate High School will enroll and graduate high school students who are motivated to earn a college degree and will position them to do so through an accelerated high school and community college curriculum.

Purpose

The purpose of the collegiate high schools is to provide academic and technical education for serious high school juniors and seniors who desire to undertake college-level study.
