You made the right choice when you decided to attend PCC. Our class sizes are small,fees are inexpensive and the quality of education you receive at PCC is superior.

Some of our success stories include: State Attorney Jerry Hill; Polk County Sheriff Larry Crow; Army Colonel Jessie Brokenburr; TV Personality Kathy Fountain; Teacher Cathy Blair; Lakeland Commissioner Gow Fields; PCC Professor Bane Cheek; Judges Ronald Herring and Michael Raiden; and numerous business and professional leaders.
Nearly 20,000 citizens have received degrees from Polk Community College during our 34 years. They attest to the fact that our excellent faculty has pre pared them well. Many of our A.A. graduates, who go on to four-year institutions, have had better test scores than students who started at the four-year universities.
In the past two years, all graduates of the A.S. degree programs have maintain a100% pass rate on licensure and certification exams. In addition, for the third time in a row, the Criminal Justice Academy graduates had a 100% pass rate for their state certification exam.
Good things are happening in PCC's classrooms, labs and athletic arenas. One of the best things is you are here! Please take advantage of the student activities, and cultural events at PCC.
