PSC’s 2010/11 SACS Accreditation Project

Hello and welcome to Polk State College's SACS Accreditation Website. This site serves as an information gateway to the College’s SACS Reaffirmation of Accreditation process. It provides links to the various resources required for the Compliance Certification and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). The table below shows the timeline of the peer review process.

Compliance Certification Due

March 15, 2010

Off-Site Peer Review Conducted

May 11 – 14, 2010

Quality Enhancement Plan Due
(and optional Focused Report)

August 15, 2010

On-Site Peer Review Conducted

October 5 – 7, 2010

Review by the Commission on Colleges (tentative dates)

June 21 – 23, 2011

After our internal review processes are completed (approximately by January 15, 2010) this site will also contain PSC’s electronic compliance documentation and the College’s QEP. Over the next few weeks we will continuously add pages and other information to this website to provide our internal and external audiences with updates.
