POLK STATE COLLEGE CLOSES FOR WINTER BREAK DEC.  17: 
STUDENTS CAN STILL REGISTER ONLINE DURING THE WINTER BREAK

December 16, 2010
- Polk State College will close for the Winter Break December 17, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. and will reopen for business January 3, 2011, at 8:00 a.m.  

While college offices are closed, students may continue to register and pay for classes online via Polk State College’s PASSPORT system at: https://passport.polk.edu. Students registering online during the holiday period must pay their fees by January 3, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. Students may pay online with a VISA card, MasterCard or debit card. Students can also pay in person January 3, 2011, on either the Lakeland or Winter Haven campus.

The bookstores on the Lakeland and Winter Haven campuses will be open most of the days during the break following a holiday schedule. For the schedule, go to:
