The Polk Community college women’s soccer team (Division 1) will begin its 4th year as a team for the 2006 season. Our season begins in August and ends in mid-November with the team playing for a bid in the National Junior College Tournament. The tournament includes teams from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky. The team usually plays 15 to 18 games against quality Junior Colleges in the Southeastern States and 4-year colleges in Florida. It is our goal to provide a quality education, instill a good work ethic and sportsmanship in our players that will carry our student athletes towards completing their education and becoming productive citizens.
