| Winter Haven, FL -- The Vikings of Polk Community College extended their winning streak to 3 games on Monday by defeating Webber JV 87-53. Polk's defense set the tone as they only gave up 16 points in the first half and 53 for the game. Offensive execution was also a key as they only committed 11 turnovers and got 81 shots for the game. They also got contributions from numerous players as the Vikings had 6 players in double figures. Polk's #1 ranked defense in the state has helped them clinch 3 straight wins and has given up under 60 points every game of the year so far. Polk's next game game will be on the road at Brevard Community College in Melbourne, FL on Wednesday night at 7 pm. |
