6th grade: recruited into the program,
orientation, study skills workshop and develop a middle school
plan
7th grade: time management workshop, decision making
and problem solving workshops, effective communication
workshop and team-building exercises
8th grade: high school success workshops, develop
a high school plan, goal setting exercises, focuson school and
grades, and team building exercises.
9th grade: acclimation to high school, career
interest survey and exploratory workshops, college visits
10th grade: SAT prep workshops, take the PSAT,
follow-up career research, career shadowing, college visits,
college awareness workshops
11th grade: in-depth college search, college
application workshop, SAT prep workshops, take the SAT,
scholarship/financial aid workshops and college visits
12th grade: individual counseling regarding
college selection, apply to colleges, apply for scholarships
and financial aid, FAFSA workshop, SAT prep workshops, take
the SAT, college visit, college success workshop
