Welcome to Our New Website!
The Xi Pi’s mission is to create an environment that will enrich the lives of our members, our school, and our community through Scholarship, Leadership, Service, & Fellowship. We accomplish this mission by being active within Polk Community College and within the community of Polk County. The Xi Pi Chapter works hard to participate in projects that will promote Phi Theta Kappa’s four Hallmarks. I invite you to explore this new website and learn a little more about Phi Theta Kappa and the Xi Pi Chapter. Meet your 2008-2009 officer team, examine your newly revised by-laws, and review your Fall 2008 calendar and make plans to participate in one the many events and member meetings. The chapter is now offering a wide variety of meeting dates and times to fit into your busy schedules. Remember: Vision with Action can Change the World! Again, welcome and congratulations! I look forward to seeing you at our next event. |

These scholarships are too numerous to mention here. It is suggested to go to Phi Theta Kappa's international headquarters website to research the many scholarships available for only Phi Theta Kappa members. Many scholarships require letters of reference from a professor, college administrator or chapter advisor. Please be courteous and give your advisor several days to properly prepare the documents you require. It is also helpful to let the writer know exactly what is expected in the letter. Your professors are proud of you and most welcome the opportunity to help in your endeavor for further education. |
