Cultural Arts
Scholarships
are awarded to students in recognition of achievement and potential
contribution to the Polk Community College's Cultural Arts programs.
Currently, scholarships are available in the areas of music,
drama, art, and publications. Recipients will be selected from
students who are eligible to graduate from a regionally accredited
Polk County high school and have demonstrated special skills
in a program or activity, which will enhance the PCC program,
or activity. Please see your instructor.
Students must
apply to Polk Community College, take the College Placement Test
(CPT), and submit a scholarship application by February 1st to
be considered a candidate for the scholarship.

The scholarship
is for the amount of college credit course fees up to a maximum
of sixty (60) credit hours. Awards must be used within three
(3) years for courses required to complete the recipient's declared
program of study.
The award may
be used in any College term so long as the recipient continues
