Research Project Checklist

Have you included:

o paper of appropriate length

o all sources cited with highlighting to indicate sections utilized

o updated works cited page

MLA format:

o every line is double-spaced

o no extra spaces between paragraphs

o name and page number in upper right corner of all pages—including Works Cited

o margins are appropriate

o paper is left aligned—not justified

Documentation:

o Works Cited references and in-text references correlate 100%

o Each body paragraph contains at least one in-text reference

o Long quotes—more than 4 lines—are handled correctly (see model notecard)

o Secondary quotes, quotes within quotes, are handled and cited

o correctly (see model notecard)

o Works Cited page is in alphabetical order

o Works Cited entries use hanging indents

o In-text citations include page number with print sources and PDF’s

o No comma between word(s) and p #
