GO TO: PCC LIBRARY page and click on Search PCC Campuses, you can access book and video records. Choose variations of the word alcohol, alcoholism, history, treatment, youth etc. in order to find specific information on these topics.

Hint: There are 1391 books on alcoholism in LINCC. To break down that number of items choose two terms and use the Boolean “and” to narrow the search results.

Example: alcoholism and youth (The result is 85 records—much easier to browse)

Hint: Periodicals are these three publications: Newspapers, Magazines (ex. People Weekly, Newsweek) and Scholarly Journals (English Journal, Lancet)

Some of these articles in the databases are from newspapers and magazines that are written for the general public. Other articles in the databases are found in scholarly journals which are written for the professional in a particular discipline or subject area.
