
Your Intelligence Analysis Team (IAT) will deploy on a critical diplomatic and
intelligence mission to the capital city of the country of PERU. Team members
will report to the Agency's attaché on site at the American Embassy by the end
of term 4.
In preparation for your assignment, your team will complete a Country
Profile Report (CPR) on your assigned country. The CPR should include
briefed information on as many aspects or details about your assigned
country as possible. Examples of what the CPR should include are listed
below.
Historical overview of the assigned
country
Social conditions (disease and
health, health care system, educational
system, welfare, crime, transportation, major social problems, etc.)
Currency and its valuation compared
to the U.S. Dollar
Geography (location, ecosystems, key
geographic features, climate,
population, major cities, etc.)
Cultural composition (language,
religion, ethnic groups, etc.)
Political structure (type system,
parties, head of state, key officials,
embassy data, etc.)
Economy (type system, major
industries, agriculture, chief
exports/imports, etc.)
Current issues (significant events
presently or recently occurring the
country)
You have the resources of our state-of-the-art library, our electronic
resources, and our crack team of information specialists (a.k.a. ,
librarians) at your disposal. Use them wisely. Your team's CPR will be
completed no later than one week prior to your departure.
