For the past 9 years I have been a science professor at PCC. I teach physics,
as well as physical science and earth science. I earned my AS degree
from North Florida Community College, Madison, Florida; BS degree
in Physics, Valdosta State University; BS degree in Secondary
Science/Education and MS degree in Natural Science from the University
of Wyoming.
Prior to coming to PCC, I was a division manager and RSO for
an international oil field service company. I trained open-hole
and cased-hole engineers throughout North America. I have worked
on oil wells 200 feet deep to 25,000 feet deep and 8,000 psi
pressure.
I taught for five years in public school systems in Wyoming,
Georgia, Texas, Florida, and Kentucky. Currently, I am in my
tenth year as a member of the PCC Faculty .
My current interests are developing
demonstrations for science class and tinkering. |
