Prerequisite for PHY 2053C: MAC 1114
Prerequisite for PHY 2054C: PHY 2053C or equivalent

General Physics I and II will meet the physics requirement for pre-professional fields of medicine, veterinary science, pharmacy, agriculture, four-year nursing programs, or related areas.

General Physics I is a trigonometry level course emphasizing the areas of mechanics, wave motion, and sound.

General Physics II is a trigonometry level course emphasizing the areas of Thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and topics in modern physics.

Selected experiments are used to reinforce lecture materials. Gordon Rule word requirement: 1500 words per course.
