Course Outline or Topic Schedule    This course is a continuation of ENC 0001 and is designed to be a simplified study of the functions of parts of speech, clauses, sentence types, capitalization, punctuation, spelling and the writing of sentences, paragraphs, and themes with the intention of improving the student's basic writing skills. Credit in this course does not count toward graduation.

Grading scale:
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59

Policies   1 point will be deducted for each weekday a writing assignment is late.
Papers that are not rewritten according to instructions will receive a grade of zero.
Three hours of absence are automatically excused each semester. You may be dropped if you miss additional hours. Lateness of less than 10 minutes counts as half an absence. Lateness of 10 minutes or more counts as an hour of absence.
