Remember that a semicolon is like a period; the only difference
is that it's not followed by a capital letter (unless you've
written a capitalized word like Linda or September).
These useful words include however, therefore, consequently,
nevertheless. Notice they're not FANBOYS words. They
don't join sentences. They just add a little interest.
Here's an example: I didn't finish my chemistry report. Therefore,
I lost some points.
