We are going to research a famous crime that happened in Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1892. This is a true story: A woman named Lizzie Borden was arrested for murdering her stepmother and father with an ax. The crime happened one August morning when Lizzie and the family maid were at home. Lizzie was tried for both murders and set free.
