Biography
Lynda
Wolverton
Greetings!
I am Lynda Wolverton and am your instructor for
this course. I have been a professor at PCC since
1987. I would best describe myself as a lifelong
learner, and I’m always interested in new
areas of learning. I have been in the field of
Education for a number of years and continue to
enjoy my chosen profession. My area of expertise
is in the field of reading, and I feel fortunate
that I can share new areas of learning with my
students in such a class. In a reading class we
can read about anything - - - well, almost anything.
I have taught every grade in elementary education
as well as work in administration.
Welcome
to class for the semester. I look forward to our
class together.

Favorite Quote: "A guide,
on finding a man who has lost his way, brings
him back to the right path----he does not mock
and jeer at him and take himself off. You must
show the unlearned man the truth, and you will
see that he will follow. But so long as you do
not show it him, you should not mock but rather
feel your own capacity." -Epictetus
