A meeting was held on January 31, 2002 to
determine the feasibility of starting a retirees association for Polk
Community College. The meeting was a great success. The
attendees (group photo) mentioned many reasons for forming the Association.
A Steering Committee led by Dave Buckley (former Director of Student Services of PCC) was named to make initial preparations, and to bring forward to the next meeting (scheduled for Thursday, February 28th) some suggestions for the make-up of the Association.
