Full-time, regular position available as Senior Academic Advisor in the Student Services department on the Lakeland campus.
Responsibilities include: Advising students relative to admissions, career exploration, transfer requirements, registration, academic programs and courses. Participate in the delivery of student orientation as assigned. Monitor student progress and interpret CPT test scores. Assist in the registration, recruitment and retention process. Assume other duties or responsibilities as delegated or assigned.
The Senior Academic Advisor will also be responsible for the coordination, facilitation and evaluation of special projects identified by the Coordinator of Advising or Dean of Student Services. The projects may include but not limited to At-Risk Student Tracking, Retention, Orientation, and Career Services.
Qualifications include: graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a Bachelor's degree is required. Five (5) years of experience as an academic advisor on a college or university campus is required.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5:00PM* (*Some evenings necessary). Occasional weekend and additional evening work is required. Medical , Life, and Long-Term Disability Insurances, Vacation, Holiday and Sick Leaves, Retirement and PCC credit course fee waivers.
