ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS
Polk Community College is currently seeking part-time, Computer Information Systems (IS) Adjunct Instructor to teach PCC courses beginning Fall 2008. The Instructor is needed for Chain of Lakes (COL) High School on the Winter Haven campus between 7:15AM to 1:30PM. Qualifications and requirements are listed below:
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Faculty for General Education and transfer courses require a Master’s degree with a major in field or a related sub-field, or 18 graduate semester hours in specific discipline + Master's degree. Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree and demonstrated competency in the teaching discipline required for non-transferable courses.
· Teaching experience is preferred
Programming experience in C++,Java, Visual Basic and database development
· A criminal background check will be required prior to employment.
